Audience
It is intended for use by non-IT staff, including both Line and Senior Managers, Business Analysts, BI Specialists, and Knowledge Workers.
Pre-Requisites
- Basic Understanding of Data Concepts: Familiarity with concepts such as data types, data sources, data manipulation, and data visualization can be helpful.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel: Since Power BI is closely integrated with Excel, having a solid understanding of Excel functions, formulas, and data analysis features can provide a strong foundation.
- A laptop with Power BI installed
IMPORTANT:
Please note that Power BI is a Microsoft app and as such, it is not designed to work on a MacBook. PowerBI Desktop is a Windows-only app. So Mac users will have to use parallels. You cannot use a laptop that does not have Windows installed. If you only have a MacBook to work on and you want to do the course, we can hire a laptop for you to use at your own cost. Please speak to your salesperson to assist you.
